IBA will be equipped with 5 treatment rooms in the new center: 4 isocenter rotating rack treatment rooms and 1 fixed beam treatment room, equipped with the latest generation of adaptive intensity-modulated proton therapy: pencil beam scanning technology and cone Shape beam CT. The contract also includes an operation and maintenance agreement, and IBA will also provide a complete set of quality control equipment packages to ensure safer and faster center clinical commissioning. Qingdao Sino-Canadian Joint Medical Management Co., Ltd. hopes that the center will begin treatment of patients by the end of 2018.
