The use of glyphosate in orchards

Glyphosate Chemical name: Phosphonic acid glycine, referred to as phosphonic acid, alias Nongda, Zhencao Ning. It is safer for humans, animals, bees, and birds. It is a herbicide that can eliminate all kinds of annual and perennial weeds in the drylands. Through the internal absorption of the green tissues on the ground, the whole plant weeds, including the above-ground green leaves and underground root systems, are completely rotted. This is the orchard herbicide commonly used by most fruit growers. However, when farmers use glyphosate in large quantities, they also cause unnecessary losses to the orchard due to improper operation.

First, the use of glyphosate to weed more than once during the year, if improper operation, infiltrated into the soil, causing damage to the underground roots of fruit trees, resulting in malnutrition above the ground, the phenomenon of yellow leaves, weakening tree vigor, affecting the fruit tree sprouting, flowering and seat fruit.

Second, the use of glyphosate in orchards can also cause zinc deficiency in soil. Glyphosate ionizes anions in aqueous solution, reacts with zinc in the soil after entering the soil, hindering the absorption of zinc by the root system, which causes the fruit tree to show lobular disease. The symptoms of zinc deficiency caused by the abuse of glyphosate have occurred on apple trees and peach trees, and severe cases have endangered the life of the tree.

Third, how to use glyphosate? The use of glyphosate should be performed after the weeds are unearthed and have a certain leaf area (blade covered with plastic film is best) and can be applied when enough doses are attached. Glyphosate weeds through the leaves from the stem conduction to the roots, so that the root rot, which completely eradicate weeds. If the leaf area is small and the amount of absorbed drug is insufficient, it can only be less effective. In addition, combined with the weather forecast, spraying in the rain-free weather, avoid liquid medicine into the soil.

The huller/de-awner removes seeds' surface husk / awn. After then, seed cleaner & grader will remove the dust, husk, smashed stems by air suction cleaning. Meanwhile, it will remove the oversize and undersize impurity by sieve grading. After air screen cleaning, the destoner will separate the stones, lumps, glass and Other heavy impurity. To remove the stones and clods, we also have magnetic separator, it is used to remove the magnetic clods and other magnetic impurity. After grain being cleaned by above procedures, customers normally add gravity separator to remove bad, immature, eaten, sicken seeds. Gravity Separator will help to find the healthy seeds. In order to improve the seeds germination rate, seeds coating machine is essential. Seed Treater will coat the chemical, fertilizer film on seeds' surface. The chemical will protect the seeds underground from worm's eaten and prevent diseases. The fertilizer will offer rich nutrition during seeds budding stage. Finally the cleaned grain/ seeds are being weighted and packed into bags.
