4 Boil the tiger bones in large iron pans according to the classification and use them to protect the bones. It is forbidden to boil the bones once thoroughly.
Cook for the first time: Cook with cold water until boiled for 20 minutes. Remove the bones and drain the soup. Rinse the bones in cold water. Shave them with a bamboo strip. Gently shake them with your hands to remove the residue. Fascia, residual oil.
Cook for the second time; add cold water, and after boiling, remove the bones and check for irregular bones. Check the separation of the fascia, tendons, and bones. Twenty minutes after the pot is opened, remove the slick from the pan and add appropriate salt to make it more sterilized. Cook for another 20 minutes. At this time, the fire should not be too large. Keep the pan open. Then remove the water, and use hot bamboo to separate the tendons from the bones. Do not use too much force so as not to hurt the bones and wash them with cold water again.
Cook for the third time: Add cold water, boil until the water is open, focus on cooking a certain portion and some bones (the tendons are attached more), and remove the water 20 minutes after opening. Select drilled eyes (symmetry drills) where bone spongiosity and bone marrow are relatively large, and do not use too large apertures. Dip the bone completely in cold water. Not sealed, exposure to sunlight, a large variety of bacteria in the water, the use of microbial methods to remove the residual tendon, the time is less than 1 week.
The fourth cooking: Add cold water, open the water, and cook for 40 minutes with slow fire so that the fat in the bone marrow cavity melts as the temperature rises. Remove grease that has been oozing out of the water and stop it. Remove the bones, dry the water in the bones, and expose them to sunlight (when the weather is not good or the sun cannot be directly exposed to sunlight, use an electric fan to blow them straight to dryness). After 3 days, thoroughly dry the bones (after the bones are dry, A crisp sound can be heard when two bones are touched.)
5th infusion: The bones were soaked in edible pure alcohol. The amount of alcohol was more than 3 times the weight of the bones. The bones were completely immersed in alcohol and kept in a ceramic rainbow for 2 weeks. This is the use of alcohol, a strong organic solvent, to break down the oil and residual blood in bones into alcohol. When the alcohol is golden and transparent, remove the bones and keep them dry. The remaining muscle tendon was completely peeled off with bamboo and allowed to dry.
6th impregnation: The air-dried bones were re-inserted into fresh alcohol. The amount of alcohol was 3 times the bone weight and was completely immersed in a ceramic jar. After 2 weeks, the fish was allowed to dry out. The immersed alcohol is filtered, placed in a clean glass bottle, sealed and stored so as not to evaporate or enter other substances.
The 7th infusion: The bones were air-dried again and soaked in hydrogen peroxide (3% concentration). The amount of hydrogen peroxide was 4 times the bone weight. The bones should be completely immersed in hydrogen peroxide and sealed. When the bleaching is completed on the third day, the lid is opened to watch, focusing on the bleaching of the irregular bones, and taking them out and drying them depending on the degree of bleaching. If bleaching is not ideal, it can be re-bleached, the time must be strictly controlled, and attention should be paid to the bleaching situation. After being completely bleached, wash it with water twice, then soak in clean water for 3 hours, and take it out to dry.
The eighth impregnation: carry out antiseptic treatment. Dissolve 2% of phenol in water. Water is 3 times the weight of bone. After soaking for 1 day, remove and dry. Then use 3% of the skeleton's 3% camphor water, soak it for 1 day, and take it out to dry.
At this point, the bone protection of tiger bones has been completed.
