Biogas wintering new method

Due to factors such as temperature differential fermentation, the biogas has reached the winter cold rural areas in the north, and the winter gas production in digesters has become a major problem. Most farmers have to give up. It is necessary to adopt less input and more output, adjust measures to local conditions, and use five methods to solve the problem of overwintering of biogas.

First, shed mode insulation. A plastic greenhouse is built above the biogas digester. Livestock and poultry animals such as chickens and ducks are bred inside the shed.

Second, firewood covered insulation. On the top of the digester, lay a layer of shredded grass, then cover it with corn stalks or straw. The height is about one meter.

Third, pig, cow-style insulation. The biogas digesters are built in insulated pig houses and cattle houses. Pigs and cattle also provide protection for the wintering of the biogas digesters during the fattening process.

Fourth, cover insulation with livestock and poultry manure. Covering the top of the digester with 0.5 meters of livestock manure can produce winter gas.

Fifth, with furnace ash or perlite covered insulation. The top of the digester was covered with dust or perlite, and the height was about 0.5 meters. The outside was covered with tar paper.
