Physical and chemical properties: Appearance is white powder, melting point is 173-175°C, vapor pressure is 40μPa at 20°C, solubility in water is 33mg/L, soluble in organic solvents, stable in slightly acidic or slightly alkaline medium But at higher temperatures, alkali or inorganic acids can make it hydrolyze.
Usage: Mainly used in corn, sorghum, sugar cane, fruit trees, nurseries, woodland to control annual grass weeds and broad-leaved weeds, also have some inhibition on some perennial weeds.
Note: Soybean, peach, corn, rice, etc. are sensitive to atrazine and should not be used. When the cornfield is stalked with wheat and rice, the dosage and other safe herbicides (such as acetochlor, etc.) should be mixed. Soil with an organic matter content of more than 6% should be treated with stems and leaves.
Toxicity data: Acute oral LD50 in rats was 1780 mg/kg, rabbit acute percutaneous LD50 was 7500 mg/kg,
